Dear Everyone:

Got out with my camera again
yesterday morning.

Took pictures of mass plantings of tulips
and poppies, as well, as a cherry tree allee.

Hope that you enjoy these images.

Dear Everyone:

Just a few shots of spring.

Saw the beautiful tulips and couldn't believe
how attractive the pink markings were.
They almost look like they were splashed
with paint.

There are forget me nots everywhere.

Liked the emerging maple leaves
against the vertical tree trunks.

Hope you enjoy these images.

Tulip study 2010

Dear Everyone:

I quite like these shots of tulips.
As the image is cropped in these shots
they are interesting rather than a straight-on
traditional single bloom shot.

Hope that you enjoy these images.

Mother's Day #2 2010

Mother'sDay#22010

Dear Everyone:

This is the second of my Mother's Day images.

I am very pleased with it.

I used my own photograph as a photo
reference for the tulips.

I hope that you enjoy this image.

Have a contemplative day
today.

June Arrives

These shots were taken June 1st at 6:00 p.m.

I don't usually shoot in the evening but didn't want

to wait overnight to shoot in case the petals

of these tulips fell off.

Finding the wilting blooms almost sculptural.

Hope you enjoy these images.

Have a start-of-summer kind of day.

Images from the end of tulip season.

Like the almost awkward delicate pink and white tulip.

The green foliage and buds is a poppy plant.

Hope that you enjoy these images.

Have a looking-ahead-to-summer kind of day.

White flowers

I saw these white flowers, tulips and bleeding heart, while shooting
some other images. I noticed the light in particular, illuminating the
white petals and the green leaves, with bright spots and shadow spots.
Then I noticed the shapes. The tulips and the bleeding heart blooms.
I think the flowers and leaves look fresh and bright.

I hope that you enjoy these images.
Have a bright-and-hopeful day today.
