Springcarpettrio2011 Dear Everyone: This store sells Persian rugs near my home. They also have a selection of less expensive machine-made rugs. Every business day they hang the rugs out to display. This photo captures a trio of rugs on a rock wall. Either hung out to display or hung out to dry after being cleaned. This photograph makes me think of travelling-perhaps to a town with hills on the Meditterranean. In his book, Kaffe Fassett hung out quilts on the rock walls of Malta to display his handiwork and the book (Kaffe Fassett's Kaleidoscope of Quilts) has a similiar feel to this shot. Enjoy. Helen.

The water looked moody green

and crystal clear. The rocks

and trees were reflected in

the water. An overcast

day gave it all a grey tint.

Sort of fresh like you

could drink from the lake.
