Summer's Close I 2010

Dear Everyone:

Summer continues to
fade away on us as time
zips by. Mornings are getting
cooler now.

Hydrangea always signal
fall to me.

Here are 3 kind of edgy shots
of hydrangea.

I am really pleased with them.
Especially with the 3D depth effect.

Enjoy.

Helen.

Day Lily Study II 2010

Daylilyphotoreference#22010
Daylilystudy#22010

Dear Everyone:

This is the second entry of my series
on daylilies.

I used my own photo-reference
again.

This image has a summery feel
with the colour scheme of peach,
green and blue. You can almost
feel the sunshine.

Once again the daylily bloom
is remniscent of an orchid.

Hope that you enjoy this image.

Helen.

Garden

DonnaMaguireSummerGarden

Gardendisplay012009

Well. I was browsing through the new
and established work by artists belonging
to the Jo Beale Gallery of Peggy's Cove
and saw this work by artist Donna Maguire
titled Summer Garden. This image reminded
me of some shots I took of landscaping
at a local garden centre.

I've posted both images in
this posting. My photograph
was taken in July, 2009.

Jo Beale can be contacted at
902-823-1960 or Jo Beale gallery at

So enjoy the summer flowers.

Have a great make-sure-to-be-
inspired-at-least-once-a-day
kind of day.
Helen.

Summer sky 2009

summersky2009

Continuing my focus on clouds and sky and sunrises.

This is a bright, cheerful image as summer
segues into fall.

Hope that you enjoy this image.

Have an enjoy-Sunday-while-it-lasts
kind of day.
Helen.
