Gardens stroll 2011

HPGstroll2011

Dear Everyone:

I quite enjoyed shooting this

elderly gentleman strolling around

the Halifax Public Gardens early

one morning.

He seemed pleasant and greeted me.

Enjoy.

Helen.

City and Garden VI 2010

Cityandgarden102010

Dear Everyone:

The shots in this triptych
capture the end of the season
at the Halifax Public gardens.

The young woman looked striking
in her outfit and kindly agreed to pose
for me.

Hope you enjoy the juxtaposition
of these images.

Helen.

Dear Everyone:

Some recent shots.

Some of the Halifax Public Gardens
and some of downtown.

I particularly favour the shot
of the wicker chairs on the porch.
I also like the shot of the vibrant
light illuminating the pink flower
beds in the Gardens.
Enjoy!
Helen.

I traveled to the Halifax Public gardens with a specific

concept of what I wished to shoot. I wanted vistas

of trees overhanging the pond with reflections in the water.

The result looks like English landscape paintings.

The light was very good and illuminated the young

spring green leaves.

I hope that you enjoy these images.

Have a clear-headed kind of day today.
