Day Lily Study I 2010

Daylilyphotoreference#12010
Daylilystudy#12010

Dear Everyone:

This year finds me fascinated
with daylilies. They grow profusely
in local gardens-wild and cultivated
spaces.

I decided to start a series on them
and so this is the first entry in
the series.

Doesn't the bloom almost
look like an orchid?

Enjoy.

Dear Everyone:

What struck me in these images
was the bounty, the mass of flowers.

It is the season for daylilies and
every where I looked I came
across them.

Hope that you
enjoy these images.

Drving by a park I noticed this mass of yellowdaylilies.

I pulled over to park and took these shots.

Seeing the vista -the mass of blooms-is

what I was hoping to capture.

I hope that you enjoy these images.

Have a summer-is-almost-gone-so-

get-out-and-enjoy-it day.
