Dear Everyone:

I spotted this Christmas ornament
amongst an array of ornaments
hung outside in a front yard on a
deciduous tree.

I did a folk art painting of it
from my own photoreference.

Dear Everyone:

This cliffface - a natural wonder- is located
in a big box shopping district. 

I came across it and couldn't believe it.

When I returned to shoot it there
were icicles.

What I like about the resulting painting
is how pretty the lily is. It is pink
and feminine and becoming.
